Books and Shoes Challenge

This challenge is part of the Bout of Books Read-a-thon!

Quick read-a-thon update:

I’ve read Insurgent by Veronica Roth and Dead Time by Anne Cassidy.
I’m reading Pretty Amy by Lisa Burstein — I’ve read 115 pages so far!
Hoping to get a lot of reading done over the weekend!

When I saw that Jacinda of the Reading Housewives was doing a Books and Shoes challenge for read-a-thon participants, I was so excited.

Here’s the book cover I chose:

Masque of the Red Death by Bethany Griffin
Masque of the Red Death by Bethany Griffin
Here are three shoes that I would pair with this book cover…
Sinistersoles.com
Goodgoth.com
Ebay.com
I loved this challenge so much that I’m going to give a copy of Masque of the Red Death away!
To enter, just tell me in the Rafflecopter which shoes you think are the most fabulous — A, B or C.
Then be sure to go to Reading Housewives of Indiana and see what other book/shoe pairings other #BoutofBooks read-a-thoners chose!
Sorry, this is US/Canada only, but Freebie Friday is open internationally!

  1. Jen, you are amazing. Also…… I've been running around like crazy all day and totally missed this challenge and I am SO UPSET because it is awesome.

  2. The boots (B) are fierce! But I feel like if I kicked somebody with (A) the first ones I could seriously kill them! So I might go with A! I wouldn't last 10 minutes in those heels though. They're like 7 inches tall!

  3. I haven't red the book but just based on the cover your shoes are a perfect match.
They're gorgeous too! Wish I could walk in heels.

  4. You are doing great on the bout of books! All of those shoes are so fab!!! I love all of those! I'm thinking practicality, and I have things that I could wear C with. If it weren't for that I would rock those stiletto's!!

    1. I actually read more than usual last week since the books I read were short. It makes such a big difference. I had been reading so many 400 and 500+ page books and wondering why I could only read 2 or 3 a week.

  5. So fun. I actually really like the boots, but you do have to hand it to those stilettos. They could do some serious damage if need be. 😉

  6. What a fun idea! I think you could do some serious butt kicking in those boots! I'm not even sure I could walk in the first pair but they sure are pretty to look at!

  7. Love those shoes! They all totally go with the cover! And thanks so much for the giveaway – I really want to read this book!!!

Sorry I've been MIA lately – I had a really busy week and the weekend was worse! I'm getting around to catching up on my favorite blogs now! 😉
