Destination Funeral by Paige Harbison
Do you love contemporary romance with a magical realism or paranormal element? Destination Funeral by Paige Harbison is a time loop romance with a Southern coastal setting and themes of grief and second chance romance.

I don’t read a lot of magical realism romance, just the very best. That’s why I did my post on Top Rated Time Travel Romances.
Destination Funeral is a time loop romance wrapped up in some family drama. Didion Bennett reluctantly returns to the place she spent her summers after the tragic death of her mother. Mercy Island, Georgia is a small Southern town and Birdsong is the house to which she headed every summer to spend time with her mother Babe, her sister Sammie, her friend Matt, and her crush, Austin.
Years, later, she’s estranged from all of them, which makes the reunion all the sadder. When Babe’s will is read, she had made a bequest that bewilders the foursome. Then they wake up in a time loop, stuck in the same Saturday over and over. What do they need to do to get out.
Didion has a lot of baggage to deal with: her grief about her mother, a strained relationship with her sister, having to face her ex again. But other people in the foursome have things to deal with too.
