Extra! Extra! 13

Extra! Extra!

Extra! Extra! is my weekly Sunday post featuring brand new additions to my TBR pile as well as a summary of what’s coming up on the blog.

I just got back from a two-week vacation, and am now staring at huge piles of mail and laundry.

But I can tell you what posts you might have missed last week:

Monday I reviewed Small Damages by Beth Kephart, a beautifully written YA contemporary that comes out next week.

Wednesday was St. Vladimir’s Summer School, week two. We read Frostbite by Richelle Mead.

Thursday I recommended two great new books: Don’t You Wish by Roxanne St. Claire and Best Night Of Your (Pathetic) Life by Tara Altebrando.

Saturday I told you about three books I read on vacation that I really wished I’d read sooner!

And I can tell you what reviews will be coming up soon.

Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry — I’ll be giving my ARC away too — don’t miss it!
Drain You by M. Beth Bloom

I also have two winners to announce!

Lucky winner of Such a Rush, by Jennifer Echols:  DeeDee

Lucky winner of Freebie Friday:  Freda — after some technical difficulties — my initial email to her never arrived — she picked Never Enough by Denise Jaden!

  1. Congrats to the winners! I really must read Don't You Wish and Best Night of Your Pathetic Life because they sound like fun reads. I just finished Pushing the Limits and it was good and sad. Curious about Drain You. Coming back from vacation and all the laundry sucks. I hate laundry especially two weeks worth. Good luck! 😀

  2. I can not wait to hear what you thought of Pushing the Limits!!! And I'm excited for Vladass again this week. School has never been this much fun.

  3. Curious about Drain You-the title and author don't sound familiar and I'm not a big fan of vampires but I'm always on the lookout for a great story featuring them! Glad to have you back and good luck with all the laundry!

  4. Interested to see what you think about Drain You. All of my Goodreads friends have had less than stellar things to say about it, so I'd like another opinion.

  5. Wow one week of laundry is enough for me so two weeks I would go crazy. Congrats to the winners, Such a Rush I seriously need to get my hands on. I look forward to your review of Pushing the Limits which is another book I must read like yesterday lol. I just started Soul Thief by Jana Oliver and hoping to finish it before my copy of A Need So Beautiful comes, which is anytime between tomorrow and the end of the month so that's not very helpful lol.
