YA Book Covers that Are Black and White and Red
Welcome to another installment of Trending Thursday, a periodic blog feature that looks at various YA trends.
You know when you go shopping and all the stores seem to be featuring a particular “in” color? Well, it seems to me like colors on book covers trend the same way.
There are three books with Black, White and Red covers coming out in June 2017, all in that flat, graphic style that also seems to be so on-trend right now (and which I really like…) Here are some past and present Black/White/Red YA covers….

Oh wow there really are a lot of black, white and red covers!!I am not sure they are my favorite but some I really like.
They are kind of stark. And kind of goth. For the right kind of book I love them!
I'm not a huge fan of trends in covers but I almost always love black, white and red together. Even with the cover colors being similar – I'm always able to tell the books apart as well which helps.

I definitely think it's a striking combo!
So many beautiful covers. I love the Red and White combination.
