The Nantucket Inn by Pamela Kelley
Here’s what I thought of The Nantucket Inn by Pamela Kelley, a cozy winter Romance Book. I always look for a new romance book or two to read around Valentine’s Day, and this February 2026 is like a warm, cozy hug!

Review of The Nantucket Inn by Pamela Kelley
- Setting: Nantucket!

- Spice level: closed door

If you’re looking for a sweet and cozy romance to read, Pamela Kelley’s books should be on your list.
Fans of romantic women’s fiction/romance books like Virgin River will love Kelley’s books, which also take place in a small, beautiful setting (Nantucket), feature a cast of characters who live and work on the island, and feature friends, family, heartbreak and struggle, and closed door romance.
This new series centers around newly widowed Lisa Hodges, whose desperation over her husband’s gambling debts sparks the idea to set up a bed and breakfast in her home. Lisa’s four children: Kate, Kristen, Abby, and Chase have twenty-something dramas and relationships of their own. Kate has just been downsized out of a job, Kristen has a boyfriend who swears he’s about to get a divorce, and Abby has marital troubles and fertility issues.
As Lisa navigates the new world of being a small business owner, will she also find love again? Or at least a new guy to cuddle in front of the fire with?
If you love a romantic, family-centered story that’s relaxing to read with just enough intrigue to keep you interested, a warm, cozy feel, and with characters that span generations, check out this book or Kelley’s others.
